حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَبِيبِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُنْيَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ وَمَعَهُ عُمَرُ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمَا، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ مَذْيًا فَغَسَلْتُ ذَكَرِي وَتَوَضَّأْتُ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: أَوَ يُجْزِئُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ .
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ وہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاں گئے۔ وہ ( گھر سے ) باہر تشریف لائے۔ ( بات چیت کے دوران ان میں ابی نے ) فرمایا: مجھے مذی آ گئی تھی تو میں نے عضو خاص کو دھو کر وضو کیا ہے ( اس لیے باہر آنے میں دیر ہوئی ) عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: کیا یہ ( وضو کر لینا ) کافی ہوتا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں! فرمایا: کیا آپ نے یہ مسئلہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( خود ) سنا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں۔
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: He came to Ubayy bin Ka'b accompanied by 'Umar. Ubayy came out to them and said: I noticed some prostatic fluid, so I washed my penis and performed ablution. 'Umar said: Is that sufficient? He said: Yes. He ('Umar) asked: Did you hear that from the messenger of Allah? He said: Yes.
