حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَكْرَهُ الْغِلَّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُحِبُّ الْقَيْدَ،‏‏‏‏ الْقَيْدُ ثَبَاتٌ فِي الدِّينِ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں خواب میں گلے میں زنجیر اور طوق دیکھنے کو ناپسند کرتا ہوں، اور پاؤں میں بیڑی دیکھنے کو پسند کرتا ہوں، کیونکہ بیڑی کی تعبیر دین میں ثابت قدمی ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I dislike (to see in a dream) a chain around the neck, but I like to see fetters on the feet, for fetters (represent) steadfastness in religion.”
