حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لَا يَمْنَعْ أَحَدُكُمْ فَضْلَ مَاءٍ لِيَمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلَأَ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص ضرورت سے زائد پانی اس مقصد سے نہ روکے کہ وہاں کی گھاس بھی روکے رکھے ۔
