حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ الْأَرْضَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ خَرَاجًا مَعْلُومًا .
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تو صرف یہ فرمایا تھا: کوئی اپنے بھائی کو اپنی زمین یوں ہی مفت کھیتی کے لیے دیدے، تو یہ اس سے بہتر ہے کہ وہ اس سے کوئی معین محصول لے ۔
It was narrated from Tawus that Ibn`Abbas told that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) merely said: “For one of you to give (land) to his brother is better for him than if he were to take a set amount in rent for it.”
