حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْيَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ كَانَ رَبُّنَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ خَلْقَهُ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ فِي عَمَاءٍ مَا تَحْتَهُ هَوَاءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَاءٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثَمَّ خَلْقٌ الْعَرْشَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ .

ابورزین رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہمارا رب اپنی مخلوق کے پیدا کرنے سے پہلے کہاں تھا؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بادل میں تھا، نہ تو اس کے نیچے ہوا تھی نہ اوپر ہوا تھی، اور نہ ہی وہاں کوئی مخلوق تھی، ( پھر پانی پیدا کیا ) اور اس کا عرش پانی پہ تھا ۱؎۔

Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, where was our Lord before He created His creation?' He said: He was above the clouds, below which was air, and above which was air and water. Then He created His Throne above the water.'

Hadith 5

Abu Darda' said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us when we were speaking of poverty and how we feared it. He said: 'Is it poverty that you fear? By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
