حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْسَفِينَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ: الصَّلَاةَ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَمَا زَالَ يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى مَا يَفِيضَ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ.
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے اس مرض میں کہ جس میں آپ کا انتقال ہو گیا، فرما رہے تھے: «الصلاة وما ملكت أيمانكم» نمسش کا، اور لونڈیوں اور غلاموں کا خیال رکھنا آپ برابر یہی جملہ کہتے رہے، یہاں تک کہ آپ کی زبان مبارک رکنے لگی ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, during the illness that would be his last: “The prayer, and those whom your hands possess.”* And he kept on saying it until his tongue could no longer utter any words.
It was narrated that ‘Ali said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim has six courtesies due from the Muslim: He should greet him with Salam when he meets him; he should accept his invitation if he invites him; he should answer [by Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)] to him if he sneezes (and says Al- Hamdulillah); he should visit him if he falls sick; he should follow his funeral if he dies; and he should love for him what he loves for himself.”
