حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَعَ أَبَوَيْهِ لِأَحَدٍ غَيْرَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لَهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ:‏‏‏‏ ارْمِ سَعْدُ فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي .

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ نے سعد بن مالک ( سعد بن ابی وقاص ) رضی اللہ عنہ کے علاوہ کسی کے لیے اپنے والدین کو جمع کیا ہو، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ احد کے دن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: اے سعد! تم تیر چلاؤ، میرے ماں اور باپ تم پر فدا ہوں ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Ali said: I never saw the Messenger of Allah mention his parents together for anyone except Sa'd bin Malik. He said to him on the Day of Uhud: 'Shoot, Sa'd! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you!'

Hadith 5

Abu Darda' said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us when we were speaking of poverty and how we feared it. He said: 'Is it poverty that you fear? By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
