أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي وَالِدَتِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ عَنِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ ؟، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ . وَاعْتَلُّوا بِحَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ان سے مشروبات کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز سے روکتے تھے۔ «واعتلوا بحديث عبداللہ بن شداد عن عبداللہ بن عباس» لوگوں نے عبداللہ بن شداد کی ( آگے آنے والی ) اس حدیث سے دلیل پکڑی ہے جو عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah was asked about drinks and she said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to forbid all intoxicants. And they use the narration of 'Abdullah bin Shaddad from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas.
