أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق يَعْنِي الْأَزْرَقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ سِقَاءٌ نَنْبِذُ لَهُ فِي تَوْرِ بِرَامٍ ، قَالَ: وَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ .
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے مشکیزہ میں نبیذ تیار کی جاتی تھی، جب مشکیزہ نہ ہوتا تو پتھر کے برتن میں تیار کی جاتی، اور آپ نے کدو کی تونبی، لکڑی کے برتن اور روغنی برتن سے روکا۔
It was narrated that Jabir said: (Fruit) would be soaked for the Messenger of Allah [SAW] in a water skin, and if he did not have a water skin, it would be made for him in a small vessel of stone. And the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds), An-Naqir, and Al-Muzaffat.
