أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: حُرِّمَتِ الْخَمْرُ حِينَ حُرِّمَتْ، وَإِنَّهُ لَشَرَابُهُمُ الْبُسْرُ وَالتَّمْرُ .
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب شراب حرام کی گئی تو اس وقت لوگوں کی شراب گدر ( ادھ کچی ) اور سوکھی کھجور کی ہوتی تھی۔
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: When Khamr was forbidden, their drink was (made from) unripe dates and dried dates.
Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Khamr comes from these two.' Suwaid (one of the narrators) said: From these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine.
