ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   میں پیالہ سے پانی پیتی اور میں حائضہ ہوتی، پھر اسے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دے دیتی تو آپ اپنا منہ میرے منہ کی جگہ رکھتے اور اس سے پیتے، اور میں ہڈی سے اپنے دانت سے گوشت نوچتی اور حائضہ ہوتی، پھر اسے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دے دیتی، تو آپ اپنا منہ میرے منہ کی جگہ پر رکھتے۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I would drink when I was menstruating, then I would hand it to the Prophet (ﷺ), and he would put his mouth where mine had been and drink. And I would nibble at a bone on which some bits of meat were left when I was menstruating, then I would give it to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he would put his mouth where my mouth had been.
