أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُرْقِبُوا وَلَا تُعْمِرُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ أَوْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَوَرَثَتِهِ .

جابر رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم لوگ رقبیٰ اور عمریٰ نہ کیا کرو۔ ( جان لو ) اگر کوئی چیز کسی کو بطور رقبیٰ یا بطور عمریٰ دی گئی تو جس کو دی گئی ہے ( اس کے نہ رہنے پر ) اس کے ورثاء کی ہو جائے گی“۔

Sufyan narrated from Ibn Juraij, from 'Ata', from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said: Do not give things on the basis of Ruqba or 'Umra. Whoever is given something on the basis of Ruqba or 'Umra, it belongs to his heirs.
