أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ، فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَأَمْسِكِي عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں، اور انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے استحاضہ کا خون آ رہا ہے اور میں پاک نہیں رہ پاتی ہوں، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ تو رگ ( کا خون ) ہے حیض نہیں ہے، تو جب حیض آئے تو نماز سے رک جاؤ، اور جب ختم ہو جائے تو اپنے بدن سے خون دھو لو، اور نماز پڑھو ۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I do not become pure. Should I stop praying?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when it has passed, then wash the blood from yourself and pray.'

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with no intention other than Hajj. When he was in Sarif I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me and I was weeping. He said: 'What is the matter with you? Has you Nifas begun?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'This is something that Allah the Mighty and Sublime has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do but do not perform Tawaf around the House.'
