حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدَةَ بِنْتِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ كَبْشَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ دَخَلَ، فَسَكَبَتْ لَهُ وَضُوءًا، فَجَاءَتْ هِرَّةٌ فَشَرِبَتْ مِنْهُ فَأَصْغَى لَهَا الْإِنَاءَ حَتَّى شَرِبَتْ، قَالَتْ كَبْشَةُ: فَرَآنِي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: أَتَعْجَبِينَ يَا ابْنَةَ أَخِي ؟ فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: إِنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِنَجَسٍ، إِنَّهَا مِنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَالطَّوَّافَاتِ .
کبشۃ بنت کعب بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے -وہ ابن ابی قتادہ کے عقد میں تھیں- وہ کہتی ہیں: ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ اندر داخل ہوئے، میں نے ان کے لیے وضو کا پانی رکھا، اتنے میں بلی آ کر اس میں سے پینے لگی، تو انہوں نے اس کے لیے پانی کا برتن ٹیڑھا کر دیا یہاں تک کہ اس نے پی لیا، کبشۃ کہتی ہیں: پھر ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھ کو دیکھا کہ میں ان کی طرف ( حیرت سے ) دیکھ رہی ہوں تو آپ نے کہا: میری بھتیجی! کیا تم تعجب کرتی ہو؟ میں نے کہا: ہاں، ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: یہ نجس نہیں ہے، کیونکہ یہ تمہارے اردگرد گھومنے والوں اور گھومنے والیوں میں سے ہے ۱؎۔
Narrated Abu Qatadah: Kabshah, daughter of Kab ibn Malik and wife of Ibn Abu Qatadah, reported: Abu Qatadah visited (me) and I poured out water for him for ablution. A cat came and drank some of it and he tilted the vessel for it until it drank some of it. Kabshah said: He saw me looking at him; he asked me: Are you surprised, my niece? I said: Yes. He then reported the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: It is not unclean; it is one of those (males or females) who go round among you.
Narrated Mughirah ibn Shubah: When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم went (outside) to relieve himself, he went to a far-off place.

Read CompleteAbu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
