حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا لَهُمْ وَلَهَا، فَرَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ، وَفِي كَلْبِ الْغَنَمِ، وَقَالَ: إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ، فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ، وَالثَّامِنَةُ عَفِّرُوهُ بِالتُّرَابِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَهَكَذَا قَالَ ابْنُ مُغَفَّلٍ.
عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کتوں کو قتل کرنے کا حکم دیا پھر فرمایا: لوگوں کو ان سے کیا سروکار؟ ۱؎، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شکاری کتوں اور بکریوں کے نگراں کتوں کے پالنے کی اجازت دی، اور فرمایا: جب کتا برتن میں منہ ڈال دے، تو اسے سات بار دھوؤ اور آٹھویں بار مٹی سے مانجھو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابن مغفل نے ایسا ہی کہا ہے۔
Narrated Ibn Mughaffal: The Messenger of Allaah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ordered the killing of the dogs, and then said: Why are they (people) after them (dogs)? and then granted permission (to keep) for hunting and for (the security) of the herd, and said: When the dog licks the utensil wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Mughaffal narrated in a similar way.
Narrated Mughirah ibn Shubah: When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم went (outside) to relieve himself, he went to a far-off place.

Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
