حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمَدَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ بَدَوِيٍّ عَلَى صَاحِبِ قَرْيَةٍ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: دیہاتی کی گواہی بستی اور شہر میں رہنے والے شخص کے خلاف جائز نہیں ۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: The testimony of a nomad Arab against a townsman is not allowable.

Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Judges are of three types, one of whom will go to Paradise and two to Hell. The one who will go to Paradise is a man who knows what is right and gives judgment accordingly; but a man who knows what is right and acts tyrannically in his judgment will go to Hell; and a man who gives judgment for people when he is ignorant will go to Hell. Abu Dawud said: On this subject this is the soundest tradition, that is, the tradition of Ibn Buraidah: Judges are of three types.
