حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَأْذِنُنَا إِذَا كَانَ فِي يَوْمِ الْمَرْأَةِ مِنَّا بَعْدَ مَا نَزَلَتْ:‏‏‏‏ تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ سورة الأحزاب آية 51 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ مَعَاذَةُ:‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا:‏‏‏‏ مَا كُنْتِ تَقُولِينَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ أَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ إِلَيَّ لَمْ أُوثِرْ أَحَدًا عَلَى نَفْسِي .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   آیت کریمہ: «ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء» آپ ان میں سے جسے آپ چاہیں دور رکھیں اور جسے آپ چاہیں اپنے پاس رکھیں ( سورۃ الاحزاب: ۵۱ ) نازل ہوئی تو ہم میں سے جس کسی کی باری ہوتی تھی اس سے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اجازت لیتے تھے۔ معاذہ کہتی ہیں کہ یہ سن کر میں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا: آپ ایسے موقع پر کیا کہتی تھیں؟ کہنے لگیں: میں تو یہ ہی کہتی تھی کہ اگر میرا بس چلے تو میں اپنے اوپر کسی کو ترجیح نہ دوں۔

Narrated Aishah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to aske our permission on the day he had to stay with one of his wives (by turns) after the following Quranic verse was revealed: You may distance those whom you like, and draw close to those whom you like [33: 51]. The narrator Muadhah said: I said to her: What did you say to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ? She said: I used to say: If had an option for that, I would not preferred anyone to myself.

Hadith 2046

Alqamah said “I was going with Abd Allaah bin Masud at Mina where Uthman met him and desired to have a talk with him in privacy”. When Abd Allaah (bin Masud) thought there was no need of privacy, he said to me “Come, Alqamah So I came (to him)”. Then Uthman said to him “Should we not marry you, Abu Abd Al Rahman to a virgin girl, so that the power you have lost may return to you?” Abd Allaah (bin Masud) said “If you say that, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say “ Those of you who can support a wife, should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserve from unlawful intercourse, but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying “Women may be married for four reasons: for her property, her ranks, her beauty and her religiosity. So get the one who is religious and prosper (lit. may your hands cleave to the dust). ”

Jabir bin Abdullah said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to me “Did you marry?” I said “Yes”. He again said “Virgin or Non Virgin (woman previously married)?” I said “Non Virgin”. He said “Why (did you) not (marry) a virgin with whom you could sport and she could sport with you.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: A man came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, and said: My wife does not prevent the hand of a man who touches her. He said: Divorce her. He then said: I am afraid my inner self may covet her. He said: Then enjoy her.

Hadith 2050

Narrated Maqil ibn Yasar: A man came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: I have found a woman of rank and beauty, but she does not give birth to children. Should I marry her? He said: No. He came again to him, but he prohibited him. He came to him third time, and he (the Prophet) said: Marry women who are loving and very prolific, for I shall outnumber the peoples by you.
