حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هِنْدٍ حَجَمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْيَافُوخِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَا بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ، أَنْكِحُوا أَبَا هِنْدٍ وَأَنْكِحُوا إِلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ: وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا تَدَاوُونَ بِهِ خَيْرٌ، فَالْحِجَامَةُ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابوہند نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی چندیا میں پچھنا لگایا تو آپ نے فرمایا: بنی بیاضہ کے لوگو! ابوہند سے تم ( اپنی بچیوں کی ) شادی کرو اور ( ان کی بچیوں سے شادی کرنے کے لیے ) تم انہیں نکاح کا پیغام دو ۱؎ ، اور فرمایا: تین چیزوں سے تم علاج کرتے ہو اگر ان میں کسی چیز میں خیر ہے تو وہ پچھنا لگانا ہے ۔
Narrated Abu Hurairah: Abu Hind cupped the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم in the middle of his head. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Banu Bayadah, marry Abu Hind (to your daughter), and ask him to marry (his daughter) to you. He said: The best thing by which you treat yourself is cupping.

Alqamah said “I was going with Abd Allaah bin Masud at Mina where Uthman met him and desired to have a talk with him in privacy”. When Abd Allaah (bin Masud) thought there was no need of privacy, he said to me “Come, Alqamah So I came (to him)”. Then Uthman said to him “Should we not marry you, Abu Abd Al Rahman to a virgin girl, so that the power you have lost may return to you?” Abd Allaah (bin Masud) said “If you say that, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say “ Those of you who can support a wife, should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserve from unlawful intercourse, but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.
