حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِنْسَانٍ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْعُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: لَمَّا أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ لِيَّةَ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا عِنْدَ السِّدْرَةِ وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَرَفِ الْقَرْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ حَذْوَهَا، فَاسْتَقْبَلَ نَخِبًا بِبَصَرِهِ، وقَالَ مَرَّةً: وَادِيَهُ، وَوَقَفَ حَتَّى اتَّقَفَ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ صَيْدَ وَجٍّ وَعِضَاهَهُ حَرَامٌ مُحَرَّمٌ لِلَّهِ ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ نُزُولِهِ الطَّائِفَ وَحِصَارِهِ لِثَقِيفٍ.
زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ لیّۃ ۱؎ سے لوٹے اور بیری کے درخت کے پاس پہنچے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قرن اسود ۲؎ کے دامن میں اس کے بالمقابل کھڑے ہوئے پھر اپنی نگاہ سے نخب ۳؎ کا استقبال کیا ( اور راوی نے کبھی ( «نخبا» کے بجائے «واديه» کا لفظ کہا ) اور ٹھہر گئے تو سارے لوگ ٹھہر گئے تو فرمایا: صیدوج ۴؎ اور اس کے درخت محترم ہیں، اللہ کی طرف سے محترم قرار دیئے گئے ہیں ، یہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے طائف میں اترنے اور ثقیف کا محاصرہ کرنے سے پہلے کی بات ہے۔
Narrated Az-Zubayr: When we came along with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم from Liyyah and we were beside the lote tree, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم stopped at the end of al-Qarn al-Aswad opposite to it. He then looked at Nakhb or at its valley. He stopped and all the people stopped. He then said: The game of Wajj and its thorny trees are unlawful made unlawful for Allah. This was before he alighted at at-Taif and its fortress for Thaqif.
Narrated Aqra ibn Habib: Ibn Abbas said: Aqra ibn Habis asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saying: Messenger of Allah hajj is to be performed annually or only once? He replied: Only once, and if anyone performs it more often, he performs a supererogatory act. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Sinan is Abu Sinan al-Du'wail. The same has been reported by both Abd al-Jalil bin Humaid and Sulaiman bin Kathir from al-Zuhri. The narrator 'Uqail reported the name Sinan .

Abu Dawud said: The narrators al-Nufail and al_Qanabi did not mention the words “from his father”. Ibn Wahb and Uthman bin Umr narrated from Malik the same words as narrated by al-Qanabi (i. e. omitted the words “from his father”).
