حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبِ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ

  ہمیں یحییٰ بن سعید نے دستوائی ( کپڑے بیچنے ) والے ہشام سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : ہمیں قتادہ نے مطرف سے اور انھوں نے حضرت عیاض بن حماد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ دیا پھر حدیث بیان کی اور اس کے آخر میں کہا : یحییٰ نے کہا : شعبہ نے قتادہ سے روایت کرتے ہوئے کہا : انھوں ( قتادہ ) نے کہا : میں نے اس حدیث میں ( جو بیان ہوا وہ خود ) مطرف سے سنا ۔

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of 'Iyad b. Himar that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) gave an address one day. The rest of the hadith is the same.

Thereupon he said: There is nothing to hinder me in giving you talk (every day) but the fact that you may be bored. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) did not deliver sermons on certain days (fearing that we might be bored).

Hadith 7132

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying that: Allah the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye has ever seen, and no ear has ever heard, and no human heart has ever perceived but it is testified by the Book of Allah. He then recited: No soul knows what comfort has been concealed from them, as a reward for what they did . (xxxii. 17)
