وحَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: نَذَرَتْ أُخْتِي أَنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللهِ حَافِيَةً، فَأَمَرَتْنِي أَنْ أَسْتَفْتِيَ لَهَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَاسْتَفْتَيْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: «لِتَمْشِ، وَلْتَرْكَبْ
مفضل بن فضالہ نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، ( کہا : ) مجھے عبداللہ بن عیاش نے یزید بن ابی حبیب سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے ابوالخیر سے اور انہوں نے حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا : میری بہن نے ننگے پاؤں پیدل چل کر بیت اللہ جانے کی نذر مانی اور مجھ سے کہا کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے لیے فتویٰ لوں ، میں نے آپ سے فتویٰ پوچھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " وہ ( بقدر استطاعت ) پیدل چلے اور سوار ہو
Uqba b. Amir reported: My sister took a vow that she would walk bare foot to the house of Allah (Ka'ba). She asked me to inquire from Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) about it. I sought his decision and he said: She should walk on foot and ride also.
