حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَارِئًا يَقْرَأُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَقَالَ : يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي كَذَا وَكَذَا آيَةً أَسْقَطْتُهَا مِنْ سُورَةِ كَذَا وَكَذَا .
ہم سے بشر بن آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو علی بن مسہر نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو ہشام بن عروہ نے خبر دی، انہیں ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک قاری کو رات کے وقت مسجد میں قرآن مجید پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا کہ اللہ اس آدمی پر رحم کرے اس نے مجھے فلاں فلاں آیتیں یاد دلا دیں جنہیں میں نے فلاں فلاں سورتوں میں سے چھوڑ رکھا تھا۔
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet heard a reciter reciting, the Qur'an in the mosque at night. The Prophet said, May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has remind ed me of such-and-such Verses of such and-such Suras, which I missed!

Narrated Abu `Uthman: I was informed that Gabriel came to the Prophet while Um Salama was with him. Gabriel started talking (to the Prophet). Then the Prophet asked Um Salama, Who is this?
