حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَخْرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ الْحَسَنَ فَصَعِدَ بِهِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، فَقَالَ : ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ وَلَعَلَّ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ .
مجھ سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن آدم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حسین جعفی نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوموسیٰ نے، ان سے امام حسن بصری نے اور ان سے ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حسن رضی اللہ عنہ کو ایک دن ساتھ لے کر باہر تشریف لائے اور منبر پر ان کو لے کر چڑھ گئے پھر فرمایا ”میرا یہ بیٹا سید ہے اور امید ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے ذریعہ مسلمانوں کی دو جماعتوں میں ملاپ کرا دے گا۔“
Narrated Abu Bakra: Once the Prophet brought out Al-Hasan and took him up the pulpit along with him and said, This son of mine is a Saiyid (i.e. chief) and I hope that Allah will help him bring about reconciliation between two Muslim groups.
