حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، أَنْ تُسَافِرَ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا حُرْمَةٌ ، تَابَعَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، وَسُهَيْلٌ ، وَمَالِكٌ ، عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .
ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابن ابی ذئب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سعید مقبری نے اپنے باپ سے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کسی خاتون کے لیے جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان رکھتی ہو، جائز نہیں کہ ایک دن رات کا سفر بغیر کسی ذی رحم محرم کے کرے۔ اس روایت کی متابعت یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر، سہیل اور مالک نے مقبری سے کی۔ وہ اس روایت کو ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کرتے تھے۔
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a Mahram.
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet once stayed for nineteen days and prayed shortened prayers. So when we travel led (and stayed) for nineteen days, we used to shorten the prayer but if we traveled (and stayed) for a longer period we used to offer the full prayer.
