حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ يَسْتَسْقِي فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِيهَا وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَاسْتَسْقَى وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ . قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَأَنَسٍ، وَآبِي اللَّحْمِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَعَلَى هَذَا الْعَمَلُ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ، وَإِسْحَاق، وَعَمُّ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ هُوَ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ.
عباد بن تمیم کے چچا عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم مازنی رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بارش طلب کرنے کے لیے لوگوں کو ساتھ لے کر باہر نکلے، آپ نے انہیں دو رکعت نماز پڑھائی، جس میں آپ نے بلند آواز سے قرأت کی، اپنی چادر پلٹی، اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے اور قبلہ رخ ہو کر بارش کے لیے دعا کی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عبداللہ بن زید رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عباس، ابوہریرہ، انس اور آبی اللحم رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے، اور اسی کے شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ بھی قائل ہیں۔
Abbad bin Tamim narrated from his uncle: The Messenger of Allah went out with the people to seek rain. So he led them in prayer for two Rak'ah, reciting aloud in them, turning his upper wrap around, raising his hands, requesting rain, and facing the Qiblah.
Ibn Umar narrated: I traveled with the Prophet, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman; they would pray Zuhr and Asr as two Rak'ah and two Rak'ah, not praying before them nor after them. And Ibn Umar said: If I was going to pray before it or after it then I would pray it complete.
