حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «استعيذوا بالله من عذاب جهنم واستعيذوا بالله من عذاب القبر استعيذوا بالله من فتنة المسيح الدجال واستعيذوا بالله من فتنة المحيا والممات» ”اللہ سے پناہ مانگو جہنم کے عذاب سے، اللہ سے پناہ مانگو قبر کے عذاب سے، اللہ سے پناہ مانگو مسیح دجال کے فتنے سے اور اللہ سے پناہ مانگو زندگی اور موت کے فتنے سے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of Hell, and seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. Seek refuge in Allah from the trial of Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death.”

When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
