حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لَا يَقْطَعُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَاقْرَءُوا:‏‏‏‏ وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍ ‏‏‏‏ 30 ‏‏‏‏ وَمَاءٍ مَسْكُوبٍ ‏‏‏‏ 31 ‏‏‏‏ سورة الواقعة آية 30-31. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ.

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جنت میں ایک درخت ہے، سوار اس کے سایہ میں سو سال تک چلے گا پھر بھی اس درخت کے سایہ کو عبور نہ کر سکے گا، اگر چاہو تو پڑھو «وظل ممدود وماء مسكوب» ”ان کے لیے دراز سایہ ہے اور ( فراواں ) بہتا ہوا پانی“ ( الواقعہ: ۳۰ ) ۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابو سعید خدری سے بھی روایت ہے۔

Anas narrated that the Prophet said: “Indeed in Paradise there is a tree under whose shade a rider can travel for one hundred years without stopping. Recite if you wish: And in shave extended. And water flowing constantly.”
