حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: اسْتَفْتَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ ابْنَةُ جَحْشٍ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ، أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ، فَاغْتَسِلِي ثُمَّ صَلِّي ، فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ. قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: قَالَ اللَّيْثُ: لَمْ يَذْكُرْ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُ شَيْءٌ فَعَلَتْهُ هِيَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: وَيُرْوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: اسْتَفْتَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقَدْ قَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ: الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، وَرَوَى الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَعَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ام حبیبہ بنت حجش نے رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے مسئلہ پوچھا اور کہا کہ مجھے استحاضہ کا خون آتا ہے اور میں پاک نہیں رہ پاتی ہوں۔ تو کیا میں نماز چھوڑ دوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”نہیں، یہ تو محض ایک رگ ہے، لہٰذا تم غسل کرو پھر نماز پڑھو“، تو وہ ہر نماز کے لیے غسل کرتی تھیں۔ ابن شہاب زہری نے اس کا ذکر نہیں کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے ام حبیبہ رضی الله عنہا کو ہر نماز کے وقت غسل کرنے کا حکم دیا، بلکہ یہ ایسا عمل تھا جسے وہ اپنے طور پر کیا کرتی تھیں ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- نیز یہ حدیث زہری سے «عن عمرة عن عائشہ» کے طریق سے بھی روایت کی جاتی ہے کہ ام حبیبہ بنت جحش نے رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے مسئلہ پوچھا، ۲- بعض اہل علم نے کہا ہے کہ مستحاضہ ہر نماز کے وقت غسل کرے گی۔
Aishah narrated: Umm Habibah hint Jahsh sought a verdict from Allah's Messenger. She said 'I suffer from persistent bleeding such that I do not become pere. Shall I give up the Salat?' He said: 'No, that is only a blood vessel. So perform Ghusl then pray.' So she would perform Ghusl for each prayer.
